Online vervoersbedrijf Tinker wankelt na schuld van 2,5 miljoen euro

Online vervoersbedrijf Tinker zit in de problemen. Op de site staat nu al geruime tijd dat door een technische fout het niet mogelijk is om een TinkerTransfer te boeken, ook telefonisch is dat de mededeling, maar achter de schermen is er meer aan de hand.

Zo zou er een flinke betalingsachterstand zijn. Een substantieel deel van de 600 participerende taxibedrijven zou niet betaald zijn, evenals het personeel.

Er is een crisismanager (Theo Terdu uit Capelle aan den IJssel ) aangesteld die een faillissement probeert af te wenden ondanks een schuld van 2,5 miljoen euro. Een onafhankelijke commissie gaat onderzoek doen naar de bedrijfsvoering van Tinker. De certificaathouders die Terdu hebben aangesteld hebben naar eigen zeggen signalen opgevangen van al dan niet opzettelijk wanbeleid, meldt Taxipro.nl.

Ook worden de toekomstperspectieven tegen het licht gehouden. Een reanimatie is beter dan een faillissement, zegt Terdu. Hij hoopt nog op een overbruggingskrediet van een investeerder.

Tinker werd in 2012 opgericht. Oprichter Rob van Strien legde destijds ook aan Emerce uit hoe de dienst werkte. ‘Een reisnetwerk waarbij je online je luchthavenvervoer per taxi kunt regelen. Hoe eerder je boekt, hoe efficiënter wij dit kunnen plannen en het kostenvoordeel geven wij terug aan de klant. Dit zorgt er voor dat we prijzen aan kunnen bieden die vaak vergelijkbaar zijn met die van eerste klas openbaar vervoer.”

Op dat moment wilde Tinker al uitbreiden naar Duitsland en België.

Het concept met luchthaventransfers zou hebben gewerkt, maar het ging mis toen men het model wilde toepassen op vliegreizen. Tinker zou dan de volledige reis organiseren, maar had daarvoor een IATA code nodig die maar niet werd afgegeven. Door het uitstel liepen de tekorten op. In 2016 heeft Tinker flink moeten investeren in computersystemen om met eigen tickets de hele reis te kunnen verzorgen.

In november stak voetbaltrainer Henk ten Cate nog 1 miljoen euro in Tinker. Ten Cate zou hebben aangestuurd op een faillissement omdat hij misleid zou zijn.

De commissie die alle plooien glad moet strijken, begint woensdag aan het interne onderzoek.
